Anyone who can offer advice, it would be greatly appreciated. I am pregnant and finding my normal scrubs difficult to fit into. They are very snug in the waist, and the shirts are snug around the bottom. I will only need scrubs until I am about 20 weeks along (I am 11 weeks now, but this is my third kid so you know how much faster you pop out...). I am in my last term of nursing school and only need them for clinicals so I only want to buy one pair. I googled maternity scrubs and only found a few pair and they seem so ugly. Would it work to just buy one size up? I don't want to look dumpy...not that scrubs are flattering to begin...but...you know...
So any ideas ladies? Thanks so much!

look dumpy? you're preggers. doesn't matter what you look like, as long as you are comfortable (you know, within reason...IMO). Go up a size, i would.

I went one size up.
Get two, in case something happens to the one.

I agree, i just went one size up. The pants that tie around the waist are a lot better than the elastic band, for the obvious reason of being able to adjust them. As far as tops, i bought one bigger one and wore white tshirts other times because they're stretchy.

Found this for ya http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=maternity+scrub&category0=.
I'm a big fan of ebay, personally. Good luck! (I've never been pregnant in scrubs, but a few of my friends have been-they wore the drawstring pants tied below the bellybump, and a white tshirt with an open button-up white top, or lab coat-depending on dress code).
ETA: Congratulations!! :)

I'm in my 7th month, now. Wearing one size up draw-string pants below the bump, stretchy tee or polo, and a big lab jacket. Congrats!

I was prego in nursing school, wore what I had although it was tight. If working, go one size up, you can take it in later.

Can the hospital lend you a couple of sets of scrubs in a larger size? It can't hurt to ask. You will return them when you are done with them.
I never used maternity scrubs. The drawstring waist on a medium pants went all the way around my 42 inch waist.
I doubt they'll loan her scrubs, she's a student not an employee. Won't hurt to ask, but expect a No.
Thanks for all the great ideas everyone!!!! Very much appreciated. I have only 13, twelve hour shifts left but I certainly want to be comfy. This was very helpful.
