HELP!! Lehman college Nursing program 2015

Im so worried! I took my hesi today and my over all grade is 88! I study for anatomy for almost a month and i only got 76. I passed it by a point. this is annoying! but my math and reading was high which pulled me up to a 88. i think 88 in not enough to guarante my acceptance also my gpa! my prereq gpa is 3.8 and my cumulative gpa 3.6. Im applying for the generic program. Im really nervous!Anyone from the program already knows if my grades are enough in order to get into the program? It is killing me! anyone else applied??

congratz to everyone who got accepted! look foward to seeing you all at orientation does anyone know if lehman has a nursing facebook page? if not i think it would be a great idea to make one for students going into the fall 2015 program.

I was informed that orientation is Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 13th. The dates listed in the orientation packet are incorrect.

Hi everyone!

I have been following this page for a while and must say it's been extremely helpful. Kudos to you all. I want to know if everyone got their orientation package? So far is only two people have received theirs via email. I am yet to receive my so was just checking I'm not alone.

@ABC15...I received my email at 12:22am today..I dont know if she sent all emails to those accepted but some people I know also received theirs..If you confirmed your seat,dont worry,you will get your email..

@issyl11..I learnt we register our classes at orientation too..

The orientation package is emailed to you after you've turned in your confirmation form. I turned mine in on Monday and received the package today Wednesday via email. It includes insurance liabity info n where to apply, CPR, uniform n equipment purchasing and health clearance report n clinical info. I'm sure if you haven't received yours yet, it's on the way. The nursing department has been short on staff recently so it's hard to get things to speed up. With that said, permission to register for class I believe willing be granted after the health clearance, insurance liabity, etc is completed. I could be wrong but I'm assuming once the package is emailed, additional information concerning the registration of classes will be emailed..

Hello everyone! I decided to join since this site has been most helpful !

I received my acceptance letter to the generic program via email on June 16 at 4:38pm.

Additionally, I received the orientation package today.

My pre-req GPA: 3.9

Overall GPA: 3.98 (Not quite sure if it mattered to the nursing department in terms of narrowing down their applicants)

Hesi Score: 88

-A&P: 84

-Reading Comprehension: 84

-Math: 96

I am really excited yet nervous about the program! I am eager to meet you all , and congratulations to all who have been accepted!!! :woot:

Hi guys! I was also accepted into the generic program at Lehman! I had a overall gpa of 3.6, science gpa 3.9, hesi score 88. I am still waiting for my orientation packet so hopefully tomorrow. I had a quick question about the timeline we have to get all the health clearance, cpr etc. finalized before orientation. I was hoping to visit my father who lives out the country for 3 weeks this summer but now I am not too sure if it will be possible. Do you guys think we will be able to be out of town without missing anything mid-july to the end of july? Thanks in advance if anyone could help =]

On the information handout, they required a Consent to Release Documents form under the additional documents requirements, anybody know where to get or download the form?
