HELP!! Lehman college Nursing program 2015

Im so worried! I took my hesi today and my over all grade is 88! I study for anatomy for almost a month and i only got 76. I passed it by a point. this is annoying! but my math and reading was high which pulled me up to a 88. i think 88 in not enough to guarante my acceptance also my gpa! my prereq gpa is 3.8 and my cumulative gpa 3.6. Im applying for the generic program. Im really nervous!Anyone from the program already knows if my grades are enough in order to get into the program? It is killing me! anyone else applied??

Congratulations to all that have received acceptances! I have yet to find out anything . I'm extremely bummed and scared . Did anyone hear back from lehman today ?!

I got my acceptance email for generic at 4:38pm on the 16th, but I still have not gotten a physical letter in the mail.

now I'm just waiting for the Nursing Orientation Package that will be emailed to us.

For future applicants my stats are

science GPA: 3.61

overall GPA: 3.57

hesi: 90 / critical thinking: 910

@ nursing2017 I got me acceptance email on the 17th but still no acceptance letter. What I heard is that they're sending out acceptance emails first. My friend told me she called and the secretary told her if anyone did not receive an acceptance email by today then there is a lesser chance they'll get one but that may not be the case so I'm just waiting patiently for the letter.

Hey guys I called the office and it wasn't good news. She informed me that most rejection emails and all acceptance emails have been sent out already. If we haven't heard by now we are on a waiting list until all acceptances are claimed. If some don't accept their spots they'll start picking out the waiting list pool. Nevertheless we will all hear by Wednesday.

I received my acceptance letter at 2:50 pm on the 17th! Im so happy! I also filled up the form and emailed it yesterday and She replied quickly saying she got the email.. Congrats for all of us

No, because some people don't get their acceptance until July. There are some days before June ends anyway so I'm guessing others who haven't gotten their acceptance will be receiving them before then. 70 seats is quite better than the previous 60 seats so don't lose hope. You were probably wait listed. More than likely if they don't hear back from the people who got accepted in the "first wave," then they start going down the list and start accepting the people who were wait listed until all the seats are filled up. I know a girl who heard back 1.5-2weeks after everyone else did and it's because of this exact reason.

If you're completely set on going the accelerated route then i would keep pressing the issue. They never get applications with 20+ students having a 4.0 GPA and a 92+ score on the hesi. Call their bluff and tell them you know people who got in with less than that. If you have to go beyond them then do so. Speak to the dean of students affair and tell them that your application wasn't given a proper review. Don't let the matter drop if this is really the route you want to go.

I spoke to someone at the nursing department and she said she will email MOST of the nursing orientation packets by Friday night and the rest by Saturday. And if anything, definitely by Monday.

If you confirm your seat you should hear back by Friday night or Saturday
