Hey guys, I am new to this site. I've been reading all sorts of things on here about NCLEX. I just took NCLEX on Friday July 2nd, and tried the PVT and it took me to the credit card page. I was so bummed I had 199 questions, which I think means I was borderline. I think my nerves got the best of me because I could not focus at all. I did the quickresults on Sunday and found out that I "failed". It's such a bummer because all of my friends around me are passing, and here I am being one of the first out of our 200+ graduating class not passing. I don't know how to study again! PLEASE HELP! I did over 5000+ questions, did Kaplan, Saunders and learningext.com. Any suggestions???
[color=#004577]licensure by examination - retest limits (number of times exam may be taken)
[color=#004478]the ncbon currently has no restrictions regarding the number of times you can take the nclex nor how long it has been since you completed your approved nursing program to remain eligible to test. the frequency of testing is determined by national council state boards of nursing. there is a forty-five day waiting period to retest. you can schedule your exam, but you will not be able to schedule a test date earlier than the 46th day after your last examination dat

I fail my NCLEX yesterday with 75Q, and it is not the first time i am taking . I took this exam with my international nursing status - i fail 3 times, then i went to nursing school (BSN) here in USA/ NY, and here you go- i fail my NCLEX just yesterday - i tried trick and it let me register, so i already registered, now i will just wait my result. I am so clueless how to start study now. I took Kaplan, and i did well on it. I read all Kaplan book. I did all Q's on Linda A. LaCharity. I also did almost 2000 Q's on NCLEX 4000 CD. How can i study now. I have to pass next time. Please help.

It's nice to not feel so all alone. I just found out I failed too and all of my friends have passed. I did kaplan, got good scores, and studied for this thing like crazy. I get really bad test anxiety so that didn't help. I just feel so lost and I'm trying to figure out what to do/how to study now!!! :-(

You hang in there,i took my exam almost 3 weeks ago and i did fail to...When i knew that i didnt pass my first thought was how am i going to do this again, whats going to be my study plans, what books do i need to study, with all this sort of questions in mind but i was thinking positive and told myself that im going to do this again and going to Pass and become an RN...Please think positive and move on w life, failure is not a sign of life stopper but it gives us strength. Good luck to you..:)
It is very hard to concentrate on study after you fail, i will get my quick result today after i did trick and i got my bad pop up, i already registered, so i am sure i failed. Thank you for all your supports.
I can relate to you. It's really hard to study over again after failing. There's no drive anymore, and you feel like it's a drag to study them over since you're already done them many times over. You're not alone. Just practice more and more. I'm enrolling with Kaplan and gonna follow it all the way through. I'm still studying both my Lippincott and Saunder's reviewers and reading each rationale, right or wrong. I've seen some improvement actually from my scores, and it kinda uplifts me and makes the studying part enjoyable again. Just keep going at it! and write a note like "I'm gonna be a nurse!" to keep you motivated :)

Crazier Thank You, tell your friend she/he can look for something else to do. There are so manything you can do with you BSN even if you don't pass your board, some people just don't know it. I don't have my RN license yet and I have a decent job making $36 thousand a year and I am an international trained nurse.
