I just took the nclex with 265 questions. I fear that I got the last question wrong which means I failed because i think it was a lower level questions. I had a lot of sata, prior/del, safety, ..a few meds here and there. No math, order of procedure,or pictures ....

Getting last question wrong doesn't mean you have failed. Good luck
It was a definitive type... Isn't that lower level

Not always. Every question type and subject has higher & lower cognitive levels and above & below passing level questions. You can only guess but unless an expert in educational pedagogy & Bloom's taxonomy it will only be a guess. Take a breath. Try and relax. The test is over and you can't change it now. You will get your results soon enough

Where did you get this idea?
Ive heard multiple sources say if its lower level, at or near passing it depends on the last question. It either goes above or below the line. ..

If you made it all the way to 265 then you were riding that minimum competency line throughout the whole test. There is no way of telling what the trend is. You could have had 20 straight above the minimum question then the last one was a lower level. No way to tell until quick results...
Thank you
There are thousands of urban legends and misinterpretations of the NCLEX. This is one of them.
