Help!! I used the threading method for my eyebrows and now I have bumps all over!!

Published

When will it go away? Will my eyebrows grow back??? What should I apply on it?

Hello,

The bumps are from your skin being irritated from the thread and especially on a hot day if your sweating this makes it worse. If while they were threading your eyebrows the thread broke this will also irritate your skin.( This is the only downfall to threading the eyebrows.)

the only thing i can think about is getting a soothing gel similar to aloe vera that are used in waxing salons, you can get this at a duane reade. I personally like the one with a honey comb design and a bee on it.(Sorry dont remember the name) Or a cold cloth to the area.

Hope this helps.

My sister had the same thing happen to her.....it'll go away.

The best thing for red bumps after hair removal is a product called BUTT PASTE. It is essentially Zinc Oxide and is used for diaper rash, so you can find it in the baby isle at the drug store. It smells and works better than anything else!

it's a method thats very common in india.they use a thread to shape your eyebrows..you know, instead of using a tweezer or a razor.it's suppose to last longer.

No offense meant here...but that sounds weird. I prefer the natural look over pain.

how is it different from waxing? Other than the obvious that they use thread instead of wax.

Saw a feature about this on TV a while back. They use a length of thread that is looped over one hair at a time then pulled to remove it.
