Help!!! I Need Housing In La

U.S.A. California

Published

I hope someone out there can help me. I accepted a travel contract at UCLA Santa Monica and took the stipend because I had made an agreement to rent over the internet. Now, that person has rented to someone else. I will be arriving in LA on September 6 and have booked a hotel until Sepetember 9. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a short term SAFE rental in LA/Santa Monica area. If so, please email me.

Thanks soooo much,

A Very stressed out,

Rebecca

THanks for your replies. I have already posted to Craigslist.

Specializes in Peds, Med-Surg, Disaster Nsg, Parish Nsg.

Good luck Born2Nurse. My daughter was in LA all summer doing an internship. She was able to find a place to stay through craigslist.

Culver City, Torrance, Gardena, and Hawthorne have nice neighborhoods with far less expensive rents.

The South Bay has light traffic to the west side and downtown for 7A -7P.

If you work nights the San Fernando Valley traffic is lighter. Gotta be careful about the neighborhood though. I live in a nice area but still won't walk at night. (South Bay)
