  1. THanks for your replies. I have already posted to Craigslist.
  2. I hope someone out there can help me. I accepted a travel contract at UCLA Santa Monica and took the stipend because I had made an agreement to rent over the internet. Now, that person has rented to someone else. I will be arriving in LA on September 6 and have booked a hotel until Sepetember 9. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a short term SAFE rental in LA/Santa Monica area. If so, please email me. Thanks soooo much, A Very stressed out, Rebecca
  3. I hope that someone out there can help me with some information. I have accepted a travel contract at UCLA Santa Monica working in their ICU. Can anyone offer any feedback about this hospital? Also, what areas would be considered safe and affordable near the hospital that would be willing to do a short term rental (3 months)? Any other advice you can think of that might help me out? THanks for your time Rebecca
  4. When I delivered my baby they did a case study on her at Miami Children's Hospital. She was born with similar looking vesicles all over her body. Turns out she had the chicken pox. My nephew had the chicken pox and I was around him thinking since I had them as a young child I would not be affected. About a week after giving birth I got a few "chicken pox" I guess the docs said I had a very mild case and therefore I got them again. My daughter recovered completely with no problems. Hope this helps.
  5. I really appreciate your reply. We are leaving Saturday to go to Houston. We are really excited about the possibilities. Can you please tell me which of the hospitals that you mentioned would be the best to work for? Thanks again, Rebecca
  6. I am a new RN with only 7 months experience in ICU and want to relocate to the Spring, TX area. I completed a formal AACN intership course and have my BLS/ACLS. Can someone please tell me if there are any area hospitals that would be willing to hire me with this limited experience? Also, is it feasible to live in Spring and work at the Texas Medical Center? Any idea what I should expect salary wise? Thank you so much for your response.
  7. I am so happy for you. I am glad you made it!!! :balloons:
