Help me get a good job...(long)

So in response to a previous post. I do work in a SNF. And while I like it, I have always wanted to work at the hospital. But for whatever reason it seems to be unobtainable for me. And while I try to keep positive, I feel that I will never be good enough. It was suggested to me I keep a few ideas in mind: good resume, cover letter, killer interview, body language.

So have a resume, will upload and you can pick it apart, I have no cover letter. Had 3 interviews, and they went nowhere, and no idea why. One interviewer said I seemed too stiff? The HR for Alegent says that it is very competitive, and that it will make a difference when I get my BSN.

But here is what I don't understand. If I apply for a job, then get a second interview and get rejected after that interview, but my co-worker applies for that same job with less experience than me, and gets the job, I must have done something wrong?

And I do think body language may be an issue, I am not good at interviews. So any tips you can throw my way would be grand. And thanks for letting my squeal and here it is:

You should probably replace the resume you posted with one that doesn't include real-life identifying information. (Use made up names for cities and institutions, etc.). This is a public forum.

Nothing jumps out at me as being wrong with your resume -- and since you are getting interviews with it, that's a sign that the resume is not the problem. Maybe you should focus on improving your interview skills by doing some practice sessions with someone who can coach you on your interview style.

Another thought: Maybe it would help you to network with people in the institutions you want to work for. If they knew you and liked you, they could help "pull you into" a job by recommending you to the Hiring Manger, explaining that while you might be a little nervous and stiff during the interview, you are really a great guy and quite personable in more "normal" situations. Professional meetings and conferences, local professional organizations, volunteer work, etc. might be ways to meet people who may be hiring -- or who know the people who are hiring well enough to give you a helpful recommendation.

Tough love time: Your objective and professional summary are a waste of space. A nurse manager *knows* you want their job. Put that stuff in the cover letter.

you have a ton if great work experience on there and instead of just listing them you should describe then.

You need some descriptions under each job position! I think that would bulk it up a bit.
