Hi! I apologize ahead if this topic is already posted but I have a few questions regarding the fingerprinting/morphotrust/identogo thing. I am trying to mail in my application to TX BON and I would like to know what are the initial requirements that has to be mailed to them.
I was informed that I need to mail in the ff:
What I am confused about is what kind of fingerprint card do I mail in? Should I used the one I requested from the TX BON? Do I just go to any fingerprint center to have it done or use this so called IDENTOGO and mail it to morphotrust?
I am really confused... I am stuck... HELP PLS? And thanks in advance!
The details are clearly explained on the TXBoN website including what you need to do whether you live in or outside Texas
Not really that clear.
What if you live outside of USA and don't have a Social Security number?
I called Texas BON they told me they will issue you a "Suedo" SS Number to put on the fingerprint card.Kinda funny if you ask me
Just like those applying into NY (another state that does not require a SS#), the "pseudo" SSN is just that, it's a "false" SSN (it is NOT a valid work authorized SS# and can not be used at all for any and all US job applications or for payroll reasons, otherwise to do so is committing a very serious fraud and illegal application).
Since there's no statue of limitation should one day, one year or more, down the road, the SS# is run thru E-Verify or the various taxing agencies can't match it, they can notify the employer and that employer can get into some problems and in the end, the person using that false SS# can be fired immediately. But most HR departments have easy access to E-verify or other services to make sure the potential employee has the legal rights to work in the States, usually prior to actual hiring.
This "pseudo" SS# is merely a way that the particular state BON can simply track the application process and to be used for reference checking, nothing more, nothing less.
The false SS# is just a computer generated number so that the probability of matching the owner's full name to a real true work authorized SS# is several millions to one chance, that there's an exact match.

Hello thanks! I was trying to "register the ink card" online but it won't let me it says I have to have a pending application I think with the BON. And on the fast pass it is asking for "RegID" which could be found at the end of registration. So I can't figure out how to send it.
