OK Please help. I am having trouble figuing out how to register for NCLEX. I have no idea what I'm doing. I don't know why I can't figure this out. I live in Washington State. What do I do first????? it says I have to "Submit an application for licensure/registration to the nursing regulatory body (NRB) where you wish to be licensed/registered." How and where do I do this????? Do I have to be a member of the NRB site first. I look at their site and couldn't find an application area to fill out. Also Do I need to register for the DOH first. $120 dollars?????? or a license????? or do I fill out the Parsons Application $200 fee. I am so lost guys. I honestly don't get why I cant figure out what to fist, second, and third. I keep crying and feel so lost. Am I the only one struggling to figure this out? Or am I mentally defective?
I can't afford to make a mistake financially, I'm on a very strict budget. I want to get the approval for the test, but don't know where to go to fill out a request. do I need to fill out and pay for a License from the DOH before I take the NCLEX?

The link in the other thread I gave is direct to applications and if you read you currently have to do online applications because the offices are closed
You cannot get permission to sit NCLEX until you have filed application to the BON and paid their fees

thank you I will give it a go. I'm so sorry, I filled out the info for the license at the DOH. but I don't know how to get it to the BON. if I pay the Licensing fee is that all I need to get the approval for the test??
They will need your transcripts and if it has been a while since you graduated and you didn’t submit application you may need to arrange with your nursing school to resend it. Application form should tell you what you need
yes I can call the registration office and have them sent. Only issue is I don't what websit to go to, or what to fill out. Honestly blacking. I feel like a blind person trying to be explained sight. I'm not joking I don't even know where to go first. I live in Washington State. What is my BON website and where do I go from there to apply for approval? Will they let me know when they have it or if I need to send transcrips
I honestly want to die and am rethinking this whole career.
is the BON and DOH the same thing or am I crazy. IDK
filed application to the BON and paid their fees
where is the application. is it the same as the Licensing application?
I filled out an application for licensing here but that was probably
a waste of time.

4. FBI background check information
Washington State Law authorizes the Department of Health to obtain fingerprint background checks for licensing purposes. This check is done through the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

It's a two part process.
So you need to complete the application with DOH following graduation, your program should send the certificate of completion and transcripts, you apply through Pearson Vue (they will send you your ATT so that you can schedule your appointment for NCLEX). Meanwhile, WA will be sending you info to complete the fingerprint card. It appears WA does things through the DOH rather than the BON.
If you are still confused, please reach out to your school for assistance. They should be able to guide you through the process. In your other post, you mentioned that it wasn't covered in class- my school also chose not to cover in class because it's not the same for every state and not every student will decide to become licensed in the state where the program is.

Thank you for your help. so from what I understand I need to fill out an application with the DOH for my license, then sign up with Pearson Vue. Is that it? Only two steps. then I will be sent Info about the background check and fingerprint?
