Help - copy of clinical rotation schedule

Published

so i submitted my repeat/reapply application to CA BRN only to find out that they are asking another requirement from me..

- a copy of your clinical rotation schedule for all cases: assisted/actual deliveries, cord dressing and major/minor surgeries.

that is the exact wordings on the letter.. i am positive that i submitted all the necessary requirements and was even made eligible before by the board to take the exam but why are they asking for this now..?

am getting frustrated and stressed out about this.. what do they exactly mean by this..? are these the cases that we have to complete upon graduation to take the NLE in the philippines..?

i didn't take my local board back home because my visa was about to expire and i know for a fact that it is not necessary to take the CA NCLEX..

please help.. thank you :(

u just have to ask your school to resend it again to them =(

Many IEN graduates especially from the Phils.have the same problem like you kabayan..:(We just need to comply with the new rules..try to contact your school and ask for the additional requirements needed...

Thank you guys.. But the thing is am not sure if my school still has those records..? I graduated 2008 thats why this things has been stressing me out.. :( i shouldn't had let time to pass me by.. But now its too late for regrets.. :(Iam stil confused on what brn is really asking.. Are these the 5-5-5 cases or are these the clincial rotations that we had in school..?Thank you again for helping..

better also ask ur school to provide the clinical rotation including the hospital name, date of rotation, name of clinical instructor, no of hours, and area. that was what my evaluator asked me to do after i submitted the PRC cases that i had before. he told me on the other letter that clinical rotation was the area, etc not the PRC cases since we are not applying for NLE but rather NCLEX.

the PRC cases that we had was not really what they are looking for but the actual duties that we had in those areas.

if u still kept ur rle book like i did, better send it to ur school when u ask them for the copy of ur clinical rotations. my school is not really good at safe keeping records thats y i learned to keep a copy of everything that they give me. :( it took my school 3mons trying to figure out my clinical rotation and i made them tell the truth wats keeping them long, and they told me that some of my rotations were not encoded in the computer and some of the files are already corrupted.it would have had saved me time and the dean's secretary if id given the rle book beforehand.

hope this helps.

Hi! I have the same problem. That's what the dean of our school also told me. She said they don't keep such records. Pls update me also with your reapplication.

whats the difference of:

- a copy of clinical cases(scrubs for cord dressing, delivery assistance, major and minor)..this is what i received from cabon while our other friend said she received this

-

a copy of your clinical rotation schedule for all cases: assisted/actual deliveries, cord dressing and major/minor surgeries..

does this mean that i just need only to submitt my cases like what i submitted to prc?so confuse..:(

I believe so. First one is the Cases we need for the application for the NLE in PRC. Second is the clinical rotation (the form our clinical instructors needed to sign to enroll to the next semester). What I received is the letter asking for the second one (clinical schedule of cases), so I submitted my clinical rotation form with date, time address, etc.

Hi Im a BSN graduate last 2009 in PHILS (our school is accredited). Then I took dec nle 2009 and dec 2010. Sad to say I failed twice. So presently Im now migrated here on California last Sept. 2011 (Immigrant status) and Im planning to take NCLEX RN regarding to to CA BON, it says there to pass a letter for those not holding a license (NLE passer)

My question is, what I should put to my letter or my reason. Do I have to write that I failed twice or should I make another reason why I didnt take NLE in Phils?

Please help me. I dont know what to do.

Thanks. Godspeed.

hi kabayan, just tell them the truth..:)btw from what school are you saten?..:)try also to read some posts of our other kababayan about the new requirements of CaBON so you will have an idea already on what other requirements Ca BON will be asking from you when you apply...:)

Does it take 30 days more or less for the BRN to reevaluate my application and for me to receive the mail? It's already 3 weeks now, I'm getting anxious. I hope the BRN can consider our reapplication. We reached their minimum requirement in regard to units (actually a friend of mine,a fil RN practitioner here in US, told me that in comparison we have more units than the other students studying here in cali) that is what's important. =)
