Part IV
This is the thread where members come to share their journey to wellness and wholeness.
It's a holistic thread, talking about all apects of health, not just diet and exercise, but the mind and spirit as well. All posters are welcome (not just Premium Members) and encouraged on a periodic basis to share what you're doing, what you need to do and how you're going to do it, and what you know!
Hello everyone,
We are doing much better this direction. Ds1 is back in school. Ds2 is back to homeschooling with me. Dh didn't get sick at all, thank the Lord.
Today, Ds2 and I went to see Millie - the millipede. Only his name isn't Millie; it is "Leggy". Anyway, Leggy was very interesting but didn't feel like uncurling for us to watch him crawl. He just sat curled up in a little ball. When we turned him over, his little feet twitched in air.
Congratulations to Muffie on the weight loss. Good job.
And congratulations to everyone else for plugging away in the day to day grind of "Healthier Living". That's what it's all about anyway. Sometimes we'll see weight loss, other times we will experience weight shifting from muscle building. And in still other times some of us will experience improved sleep, less fatigue, and a greater tolerance for frustration. All of these are benefits from Healthier Living. Sooo, I applaud everyone for staying the course in their own way. Changing bad habits and maintaining good habits can be challenging. :yeah:
:yeah:
:yeah:
Hugs to everyone.

(((((((((((((( smooch!! )))))))))
I'm trying hard to totally avoid saturated fats and eat Mediterranian. Another biggie is not to substitute sweets for the beer and wine. I really have developed the habit of avoiding all the sweets at work. I want to improve on sweets.
I wish the nursing workplace was more health oriented. Many of my co-workers sip pop all day, and snack on junk, unfortunately.
