Hope Danny gets well Steph.

I was going to the gym, but the guy painting my house wanted me to come look at something when I got off and I was too tired to go to the gym after being home. Once I'm home, I'm home. :)

Need to go workout but he is sick . . . I'll see if my daughter is up for watching him when she gets home from school.

Still, huh? Poor babe :( Poor Steph ... poor Twizzlers lol

Once I'm home, I'm home. :)

Oh gosh do I know what you're talking about!!!

Hi all,

Reading about stressed out nurses and other health care professionals really saddens me, but I am surprised to see so much about dieting going on. It is almost going to put more stress on you....

I practice something called Vipassana Meditation and it really helps me staying balanced. Good luck....

Goodness Steph - sounds crazy! I know what you mean though, I broke into the redhots and managed to eat a handfull of them before I even realized what I was doing. I had to exercise a bit longer that night - oops!

LOL Tweety - I am the same way, I can keep on hoppin' all day, but once I hit my door, I don't wanna come back out. It's hard to drag myself even across the street to work out.

Hi Zoe and everyone, hope it's going well!!! :D

Well, we failed our work-out routine on Wednesday, the senior citizens had overtaken the community building, which is awesome, but it was tooooooo cold to walk and we didn't want to bother them, so we skipped the exercise that evening. I was back on track last night after class though, getting through a good 45 minute cardio work-out between the machines, WooHoo!!! Actually, Wednesday is the only day we have skipped this week, so that should be ok. We plan on working out right after work today, so that should be good!

Well y'all, I am pumped, I have my ER clinical rotation this Sunday, so send positive vibes my way!!!

Hope you guys have a happy, healthy weekend! See y'all next week!

I have done that before, wanting to avoid sugar (it really messes w/ my system not to mention the wt gain and bloating and general crabbiness...) - but found a mouthful of something in my mouth - I have actually been able to spit out whatever it was sometimes! ha ha - anyway -

Enjoy your ER rotation, I have a feeling you are going to love it what with your thirst for learning and all!

I wt today at the same - two weeks in a row now - so - stepping up the exer. -- did some today and have plans w/ some other people tomorrow to walk "briskly" (will have to because it will be in the 30's!!!)

I lost another pound this week (total= 14 pounds since the last week in Sept.). I could've lost another pound if I had been better at lunch time. I'm OK with a pound, though.

Have a great weekend all!

I wonder which is worse the stress of dieting or being obese. Sometimes I think the stress of yo yo dieting is worse. But if we can diet and keep it off, then that is good stress.

Meditation has helped me in the past and I should give it a try.

Hey guys!! I didn't forget about everyone. It has been a buuuussssy week. My son had his first karate tournament Saturday; so, I was busy preparing for that.

Anyway, my Friday weigh in was no loss!!

Last week: 219 lbs.

This week: 219 lbs.

I switched to Tae-Bo. The running, although fun, is taking a beating on my ankles!!! I use to do the basic Tae-Bo, but I had the "Boot Camp" series dvds, so I gave those a try. I love the kicking and punching, but the "Boot Camp" dvd's have more push ups and sit ups and my word am I sore!!!! I can run for an hour no problem. But ask for some push ups and sit ups and it KILLS me. At least I am sooo sore all over that I have forgot about the ankles!!!

I hope everyone else had a great weekend. Keep up the good work!!!

Jay
