I sympathize! Foods with a good dose of carbs (pasta, rice, chips at the Mexican restaurant) ALWAYS induce me to eat until I'm ready to explode! What was that old Lay's commercial - betcha can't eat just one? When it comes to carbs and salt I can hardly stop at one bag. ESPECIALLY if they are in combination!
Zoe! Howzit with those rollerblades lately? Is it nice enough outside in your neighborhood to venture outdoors in them yet?
It's nice enough now - but I haven't because I was so recently sick. It's time though! We have crocuses and our white birches are starting to bud :)
Now if I can get past the [bANANA]Chicken! Bwok, bwok![/bANANA] !!

Blue - so glad you were able to maintain while in Vegas - WooHoo!!!
Tweety - I know what you mean about over-eating, I go in spells with that. Some days I am really good and other days I feel like a bottomless pit. Dang-it! At least the gym was good though - ya!!!
Zoe - you are right, it is VERY sad that I make as much as a LPN, in fact, it completely disgusts me!!! No prior education, most people in my field are required to have a Bachelor's, but since I live in a rural area, the requirement is waived out here. I was lucky that I got my job, but it is sad that nurses are not more valuable as I would definitely rather put my money into the nursing profession than into this one!

Hi everyone and anyone else out there!
Well, I was good yesterday, I had a big dose of meat at lunch, so I ate green-beans and a few crackers for supper - yummy. I took a long walk up to the pasture and helped my hubby with some planting, it was very nice. :)

Hi everyone, just a quick note before I'm off to work. This week my workout is also at work -- lotsa physical challenges there, I'm afraid.
Anyhow, I'm over the Krud, which only lasted 2 days, thank goodness, and back to normal.
I'm eating pretty good, found that Dole makes a nice tropical fruit canned fruit for when I run out of fresh, and it's sweetened with Splenda. So that's been my "treat" dessert the past few days. :)
This weekend when I'm off I'll be able to write more. I think I'm going to make a roast turkey breast. Maybe. With whole cranberries and sweet potatoes.
In a couple of weeks, DS graduates from HS and I'm sure we're gonna have BBQ, so if anyone has any good calorie-spare recipes for rubs or marinades for chicken, please feel free to share!

What was her exact comment? I saw some spoof on TV where they said a politician pushed Sheryl away from him - and the pretend newscaster said the reason was that he didn't want her poopy fingers on him ..
Something along the lines of one square of tp is enough for everything except those pesky times when two or three may be required It's the darndest thing for her to get involved with, LOL.

Hi to anybody I missed!
Well everyone, I am feeling good and energetic today, which is really odd because I was up until almost midnight last night and still had to get up at 5:00 this morning to come to work - it may be a different story by noon - LOL! Anyway, I had class last night, I got home at 10:30 and I walked until 11:00 to make sure I got in my 1/2 hour of exercise, I had in another 1/2 hour earlier from walking around town on my lunch break, so WooHoo!!! I don't think the scales have moved, but my clothes are fitting better, so I think I must be gaining muscle mass since I actually have been exercising and still been eating well. Yeay! Of course, it is PMS time, so that always messes with the weight too - I can't wait to see where it's at in about a week and a half when my body and hormones all normalize - LOL!
Anyway, have a great weekend y'all - I am going up to my MIL's and we're getting together to begin our annual chicken butchering so we will have fresh chicken for the year - yeay!
