HCC Spring 2017 Nursing Program

Published

Anyone out there know if they are applying for the 2017 Nursing program for HCC (Hillsborough Community College)? I am! Just realized I want to do this so I'm taking A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, and sociology this summer. Apparently its called the crazy train! Anyone else doing something similar?

How many times did you take the class? If you get an A, then it brings your grade up. If it is the third time you take it then it will take .2 points off your overall GPA.

As for the questions on the bottom of the background check, I bet they can help us answer those questions when we go to the Ybor campus to fill it out. But, yeah it was seriously confusing.

Specializes in CNA so far.

I am going to see an advisor today also so

I can fill out all the forms needed accurately and then I'm taking the drug test and background Friday. I know background is at Ybor campus and Drug test is at Dale Mabry campus I'm trying to get everything taken care of and immunization and cpr also so I don't have to worry about anything.

The drug test is given by the college unannounced. So I'm assuming they are going to randomly test us at some point in time. I don't think we can just take it when we want to take it.

Also, I'm going to HCC tonight so I will try and get the answers to the background check and post them here. They have to understand that we don't have the answers to questions 2 and 3.

I've made a thread for those who got in. This one is pretty long and unwieldy.

What is the thread called? Thanks Analgesic I'm sure they do that for the drug test maybe before the program actually start idc because I don't go drugs  but I'm just anxious!!!! Let us know what you find out and I'm going to SouthShore since I'm taking classes there to ask my advisors there and we will meet back here later then!

Damn :wideyed:

Guys I just talked to an advisor lol she told me that . I was in shock too . taking precalc to boost my 3.42 to 3.52 ( 3.52 was springs cutoff ) she also told me she is sure that fall 2017 will have less applicants since spring was soaring with applicants . I will not give up ! Its either that or do LPN for one year and transfer . I believe in gods timing

Just checked my email, yes! I got it at plant city day. I'm so happy now.

Has anyone been put on the alternate list? Do you have any information on how that works? When you will be notified? How long that process takes?

Isign22- Congratulations! I'm in at Plant City too :)
