HCC Coleman Spring 2021

Hi I was trying to see whose all applying to HCC for Spring 2021. I couldn't apply for fall because I needed Micro.

I received my letter of intent this morning and started to fill out my castlebranch information but I previously used castlebranch for a different program, so does that mean I have to redo my background check and drug test? Is anyone else in the same boat?

I too was in a previous program. However, I did pay for another castle branch account but I used my recent background check, drug test information and immunization records for the HCC account and they all were approved by Castle Branch.

how do you complete the board of nursing clearance card? it seems my previous drug test and background check carried over for my HCC application.

It was sent to me after I completed my fingerprinting. It arrived in the mail late in the process. I am using the one that I use for my previous program.

do we have to set up a fingerprinting appointment ourselves? I haven’t received an email about it yet and I didn’t have to do a fingerprint for the other program I applied to so I don’t have a clearance card.

I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon this thread for Spring 2021. I just received my Letter of intent today, only after I called the advisor. Crossing my fingers that we all get it in!

I’m a little confused with previous posts. If you read the letter of intent closely it says “Missing the important deadlines will prevent you from moving forward as an accepted student and an alternate will take your place”. At the end it says congratulations upon your acceptance into this selective program.

the email you get says that you meet the initial requirements for the program and to fill out the letter of intent. you have to complete the additional steps before the final acceptance is determined. it says if you complete all of them then you will be notified of your admissions status by december 16th via email.

I also applied for Spring 2021. Also to clear all of this up the LETTER OF INTENT IS NOT THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER. They haven't even began sending in names of everyone in this application period to the BON to get bluecards / fingerprinting done according to the program director I talked to right now as of 8:40AM. I don't know how the other people said they got their fingerprinting done but the lady said they havent began yet. Letter of intent and immunizations are required to be considered, it does not mean you are accepted.

good to know because I was very confused about the part that says we will get an email about whether or not the fingerprinting needed to be done and I haven’t received any email but the person I spoke to about my previous background check and drug test informed me it needed to be redone

Also since no one answered the other guys question of their application stats:

mine is 3.5 GPA flat and a 93-96 total HESI score with no experience. Hopefully they take a shot on me, usually experience can be a factor
