Hi I was trying to see whose all applying to HCC for Spring 2021. I couldn't apply for fall because I needed Micro.
@Lavasha Jones I would 100 % accept both.
@Lola Our classes start on the 24th, and it looks like it'll be mostly online. They did however instruct us on the new procedures for when we are allowed to go back to campus.

Then students are sent the information to create a castle branch account where they are expected to submit all of the required prerequisites (immunizations, TBON card, health insurance card, drug test, physical, etc.). After that, the students that meet the castle branch deadline are ranked from highest to lowest scores (score on application) For example: If they are only inviting 120 students the Spring cohort, only the top 120 students will receive admission to the program. There are always students that reject their offer, and from there, they will continue to select alternatives until all seats are filled.
so if you don’t get a letter or intent then that means you don’t meet the requirements? and if you do then you have to do castlebranch and spend the $80-90 for it and you still might get rejected?

do you know how to get the TBON card step by step, I’m struggling, do you pay for fingerprints too? can you email me at [email protected]
thank you
@mikaylaanyssa Correct. That was the most frustrating part of this process in my opinion. Immunizations, fingerprints, etc. cost money, and it can be very discouraging to think that you might be throwing all that money away if you do not get in but it's part of the nature of applying for nursing school.
@Auroriux1 Unfortunately, you have to wait until the school submits your name to the TBON as a prospective nursing student. Once TBON receives your info you will receive an email from "IdentoGO" (Please do not accidentally delete this email or you'll be screwed) The email will include all the instructions to set up a fingerprint appointment (approx $40). After you take them, TBON runs an FBI background check and if you pass they send you a "TBON Blue Card". I would strongly suggest that you have the right mailing address in your HCC profile and that you schedule the fingerprint appointment immediately after you receive the identoGO email. Due to COVID they are taking longer than usual and you do not want to be rejected because they failed to send your card on time.
