HCC Coleman Spring 2021

Hi I was trying to see whose all applying to HCC for Spring 2021. I couldn't apply for fall because I needed Micro.

Hi, I have a question about immunizations. If you have a positive titer, but no record of immunization(it was when I was a child). Do you still have to get the vaccine again, even if you show immunity in your titer? I'm applying Fall 2021 and all immunizations are due on April 13th.

I am currently in the program(first semester), I believe that you still have to show a current/update titer.  Also, if possible try to register and complete Pharmacology before entering the program.  It will help your first semester not be as stressful.

@Lola thank you for your quick response. The titer I have is from 2019, so it's fairly current. I have been trying to register for pharmacology, but for some reason it's not showing up to register for. I'm so confused. I emailed them, but they haven't responded.

I would continue to check the course catalog daily. There may be a delay due to many employees having to work from home.

How do go about getting the permission code for the class? Im looking to take it this fall. Also how is the current schedule for the nursing program?

Hello,

 

The class is open to all students in any area of study, so no code is needed.  Currently, the first semester consists of 2 theory classes which includes foundations of nursing, Pharm, 1 clinical, 1 skills class and a health assessment class.

Okay thank you. I tried to enroll in the class for this fall its saying I need a code. I have emailed my advisor and the nursing advisor and still no response.

Hi

There are four classes for pharmacology, you as a non-nursing student is only allowed to enroll into a specific class. So you have to try and enroll all the 4 classes one by one till you find the class meant for students not yet in the nursing program. I hope this helps.
