Hi, can anyone tell me a place to get titers done

I go to minute clinic, but if you aren't positive for some of your immunizations and haven't taken them before this titer then honestly youre not gonna make the cutoff date.

Is anyone comfortable with posting their application GPA and HESI scores? Also a few people from San Jac and HCC have told me that HCC's program is chaotic for clinicals, and San Jac is more organized ( They share the same clinical building somewhere apparently)

I just used only one family doctor to finish all requests including physical examination form.

So my hep b titer is negative, so I only need a booster right? Its saying I should get a repeat 3 series vaccine where as I already did that when I was young.

Depends how low your antibodies are, mine were low and I’m doing the twinrix 3 dose fast track. I started in august and I’m barely done with getting the shots. I’m not allowed to get a tiger until next month, two weeks before the due date. So if you decide to get it done you need to do it now, or it may be too late

I didn’t had that low I had the border line. I already fid the booster and did the titer too. I called castle branch and also did call -----------------------. They said thats fine

Hello everyone.

I also received a letter of intent and I am doing the castle branch items. On the second page of the physical's form is asks for titers for Hep B, C, A&B COMBO. I came back as negative for HEP A, will this hinder me from getting into the program?

I have emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) two times now and have not received a response and I am super worried that I just spent $500 to get titers and a physical for nothing.

Thank you for anyone who might know the answer and reply...

Hep A is not a requirement. It's on the form but, if you look at all the Immunizations(on the to do list) they don't ask for a Hep A titer only on that form. My doctor put "N/A" and it was approved by castle branch.

If your titer was negative or equivocal, new alerts will be created for you to repeat the traditional 3 vaccine series (administered after your titer) and provide a 2nd titer (lab report required).

hope those can help you! Good luck!

This is mine it mentions nothing about submitting titers for Hep A. It says Hep B & C. The physical form mentions Hep A yes but your to do it list is the only items you should be concerned about its most likely a default form for every program.602027275_ScreenShot2020-10-03at2_59_01PM.thumb.png.f8270976a1f6ab3146b2b8d91edcc5f0.png

That's was my main question, I figured that the main ones on the to-do list were the most important, but I just wanted clarification.

I have been reading so much contradicting information on whether we are accepted into the program or not. Some people from fall admissions said that even though we got the letter of intent and completed the castle branch items we could still be denied... what is everyone's opinion on this?

I really hope we all get accepted after having completed the branch items!

@MaleNurse1218 My to-do list does not have HEP C
