Hi everyone, I am currently taking prereqs for the ADN program at HCC. I am almost done with my associate's so I can do a BSN program as well, but my focus is HCC. I know it's kind of early but are there any HCC fall 2020 future applicants? HCC's deadline is strange lol I have everything completed this Winter, but because the deadline for spring 2020 was August, I'm too late to apply.? It's ok though because things always happen for a reason! I just pray I get in! My ADN PROGRAM grades are as follow:
AP1: B
AP1LAB: A
AP2: C >.> ? NEEED TO RE-TAKE LOL
AP2 LAB: PENDING
MICROBIOLOGY: A
MICRO LAB: A
ENGL 1: A
HUMAN GROWTH: A
Psych: A
I have yet to take the HESI because I'm not done yet BUT my projected completion day will be around January.
I will update in spring 2020 when I am ready to submit the application! ?
Question: Do I HAVE to re-take AP2? I will if I have to though
I received and submitted the letter of intent but I'm worried that I will not be able to meet the deadline. I'm curious to see if anyone has successfully submitted everything and if so if they have heard anything back from HCC.
I think some people submitted everything but I don’t think they will hear anything until after June 12th. Some people had blue cards from applying to other schools. From what the letter of intent said we are accepted but have to submit everything. I emailed someone earlier about us getting the the fingerprint email late. June 12th is next week. Is all your immunizations completed? Drug test?
I emailed Wanda last week got no response and I seen on HCC nursing facebook page they listed some different names to contact about the nursing department and Wanda wasn’t listed
Hey! I did my fingerprints yesterday and they told me 3-5 business days, but you never no... I contacted -------------- and ------------------ and asked them would everything be submitted in time. They told me “not sure of the turn around time”... they literally send the TBON stuff end of may and expect us to have that submitted. I have everything but my flu shot submitted. Just waiting on my clearance. I don’t think any one has the right answer in the nursing department. It’s kind of frustrating and causing me anxiety
I have been having the same issues. I've been emailing ------------------- for weeks and she has not given me any helpful answers.
I got my fingerprints done on 6/4 and was told by TBON my blue card would be mailed out on 6/8, but I haven't received anything and I'm getting really anxious.
I emailed ------------------ & ------------------------ about it about 1.5 weeks ago, before I got my fingerprints done, and no response.
I followed yalls advice and emailed ----------------------, so let's see what she says.

Yes, majority of applicants have received their email and/or blue card. The ones in the group me anyhow.
