Hi everyone, I am currently taking prereqs for the ADN program at HCC. I am almost done with my associate's so I can do a BSN program as well, but my focus is HCC. I know it's kind of early but are there any HCC fall 2020 future applicants? HCC's deadline is strange lol I have everything completed this Winter, but because the deadline for spring 2020 was August, I'm too late to apply.? It's ok though because things always happen for a reason! I just pray I get in! My ADN PROGRAM grades are as follow:
AP1: B
AP1LAB: A
AP2: C >.> ? NEEED TO RE-TAKE LOL
AP2 LAB: PENDING
MICROBIOLOGY: A
MICRO LAB: A
ENGL 1: A
HUMAN GROWTH: A
Psych: A
I have yet to take the HESI because I'm not done yet BUT my projected completion day will be around January.
I will update in spring 2020 when I am ready to submit the application! ?
Question: Do I HAVE to re-take AP2? I will if I have to though
Have any of you purchased your health insurance through edusure.com, which is listed on HCC's website? If so, what are your thoughts? If you purchased through a different website, do you recommend it? I noticed you have to purchase health insurance 1-2 months in advance in order to have coverage by July 2020. This is why I am attempting to do it now. Any and all advice is appreciated, thank you!

yes I received an email today to set up an appointment with IdentGO for a background check. But some dates were not available till June 4th, and thats a week before the due date for everything.

That’s a good question hope they understand the background part because we just now getting info for it
I literally feel like they never have a straight answer for me, and frankly, its very annoying. I emailed ------------------ and ------------------ if I got it done on June 4th, will I be cleared by June 12th. She said "IDK the turn around time".
Im over here like " then why did you wait till 2 weeks before the due date to send us the background check"
@Beebee10 don't cry we gat this . We just have different thi3☝️☝️ngs coming up. Oh it's true, a lot of people don't have the Hesie yet. I feel they will wave it.
Is it June or July?

Has anyone had any luck contacting the nursing program? I just had my fingerprints taken today and I don't think I will receive the TBON clearance card before June 12. Do you all think they will extend the deadline? Has anyone submitted everything already?
I have not even received anything from TBON. this has been a mess, surely they will extend-especially when students who have accepted their letter of intent, have yet to hear from TBON. ?
I just did my fingerprints on Monday. TBON told me today I would get the blue card in 5 business days. But IDK I’m waiting. Did everybody who applied receive the letter of intent? Which to me mean we are accepted as long as we have all requirements by deadline
