Does anyone know when the Math Calculations test is? I don't see a date listed anywhere in my syllabus or course material.

Also, does anyone know what color scrubs ADN students wear in the fall?

Adrian: my gf said that they just changed the uniforms from all white scrubs to white tops and black bottoms. She also told me that at orientation they will offer everything in a bundle and that same day you will purchase books, register, and pay for everything.

my class which is W, Th 9:30-12:30pm our math test will be on July 16th. Mrs. Grant our "main" teacher, per her b/c we realized that we are going to have a different teacher each lesson, b/c the classes are taught body system-to-body system......

It's really crazy, but I'm excited! We have to grab this class by the horns!!!

Txgrl, I suggest you start reading the first 6 chapters since you're going saturdays only! b/c that's what we have to read by tommorrow!!!! :eek:

OH, another thing!

Mrs. Grant said that the acceptance letters are going out the first week of August!!

Oh my!! I have been chatting with Ms. Grant. She said that for the saturday class there will only be one professor (shes the prof.). Did yall actually have lecture today? She also did tell me to read the first 6 chapters of the book. I guess its very intense so thats why they have a high drop rate. Kind of scary but it looks like all of us here are very dedicated. We will be fine!!! My gf did tell me to record the lectures. I am so down for study group as well.

So what did everyone think of Pharmacology class this week? I'm in the Saturday 8:30 to 2:00 class. A bit lengthy for my taste, but it didn't seem too bad. Tests are going to be crucial though....

Yea, the tests are going to be really important. There is no room to relax in this class. I'm going to have a hard time remembering to get the online quiz completed by sunday night, so I guess I'll have to set up an alarm on my cell.............. There seems to be more reading than anything else. Just trying to keep one step ahead on the readings at this point, while not forgetting about the Calculate book.

What did everyone think about the quiz? Easy or hard?

I was a little nervous about the quiz. They only count for 5% of our final grade, but that (along with the math test) could end up costing you a letter grade if you're not careful. I ended up with a 90 on the first quiz, but I'm unsure about which one I missed. I was concerned about the questions being misleading or tricky, but, for the most part, they were pretty straight forward. Hopefully all of the quizzes will be like that.

Yeah... I agree. I plan on taking them seriously as well. Every point counts in this class! I spoke to a few people that were taking the class for the 2nd time and they mentioned they were there AGAIN bc they did slack. They stressed that its not a class to take lightly and that the math is VERY EASY! I am already memorizing all of the abbreviations from the math book. Its alot of information but good thing this class is very interesting
