Hello!
I have also applied to HPU's nursing program for the fall of 2017. I had a hard time finding recent discussions on the program as well. Most of the allnurses chats are from 2011. Calling the nursing department was useless, I asked about if my application was received and I didn't really get a straight answer. Guess we will just have to hang tight and wait anxiously for the mail lol. Glad you started this thread, hopefully more people will chime in! Good luck to you, I hope you get accepted!
I have called a few different times. About 2 weeks ago someone in the admissions office told me that we should hear back by the end of March but I haven't heard anything. When I called last friday they told me another 4-6 weeks. I am very confused on when we should hear back cause I have heard so many different things. Guess we will just have to wait a while
Thanks for the response, good to know. It's strange that you were told another 4-6 weeks last Friday and I was told 3-4 weeks from the Feb 28th deadline less than a week ago on Tuesday. The woman at admissions put me on hold and said she was asking the nursing department. Anyway, hoping the letters come soon and I hope that you get accepted
I have not received anything or heard anything new. Fall registration is approaching too, hoping we find out soon! It's strange that there are so many different answers about admissions decisions, wondering if there was more applicants this time around or if they changed the way they review applications.

Hello
I recently applied to Hawaii Pacific University for Fall 2017 and I am having a hard time finding any RECENT information or people in the same boat. Anxiously waiting for a letter or email (I have no idea which one) for a "yes" or "no"
A little bit about myself: I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman and separated two years ago to pursue nursing, and before the Navy I was a CNA. I have completed most of my pre-reqs at Hawaii Pacific and have taken scattered college over the past ten years because of moving around a lot. Hoping to meet and share experiences with others who have applied to HPU's BSN program or HPUs HM to BSN program (I applied to both), or even those who are in the program now.
