Navy NCP FY 2019
Lizc, From what my recruiter told me, GPA/Interview/Statement are what weight the heaviest with selection decisions. I am going to MEPS next week, excited to get that over with (I've done it once before when I enlisted-Interesting experience lol). I only have a 3.44 GPA, very nervous about this not being competitive enough but its worth a shot!

Navy NCP FY 2019
Hi! I am also interested in the NCP 2019. I start a BSN program this fall. My biggest struggle so far is getting letters of rec from professors since I have taken scattered pre-requisists all over the place and done a lot of online courses (was active duty and moved around a lot). I was a navy hospital corpsman for five years and miss the navy so much, I worked along side navy nurses and I would love to go back in as one. Thanks for starting this thread, I hope you all get accepted/commissioned.

I was able to register when I met with my advisor:) For that Gen-ed requirement I took HIST 1558 this semester online and it has been a easy, interesting class. I've actually enjoyed the material and the course work load is very light- weekly discussion/quiz/and two papers total.

Anyone who was accepted register for classes yet? I tried to register but an error popped up, I am meeting my advisor tomorrow though, curious if anyone else had an "error" for registering.

Check your "my.hpu" email, I got a invite for an event this Monday for the BSN program. Maybe if you have the same email you'll know that you were accepted, but also if you didn't receive it, I wouldn't get discouraged until you have your physical letter. Crossing my fingers for you guys.

I called yesterday for an update, I was told "mid April" by a man in admissions. Another student that I have a class with was also told the letters were sent out last Thursday... Another empty mailbox today makes me question the truthfulness of what admissions says

No, hopefully today, I'll post on here if I get anything. Wondering if they sent out acceptance and rejection letters at the same time. Does anyone know if HPU has a waitlist? This waiting game and uncertainty is brutal

I have never checked my mailbox so much in my life. Maybe tomorrow is the lucky day for us

Letters. "Jreynad" said that admissions sent out letters yesterday, should be arriving any day now especially if you are already in Hawaii :)

I have not received anything or heard anything new. Fall registration is approaching too, hoping we find out soon! It's strange that there are so many different answers about admissions decisions, wondering if there was more applicants this time around or if they changed the way they review applications.

Thanks for the response, good to know. It's strange that you were told another 4-6 weeks last Friday and I was told 3-4 weeks from the Feb 28th deadline less than a week ago on Tuesday. The woman at admissions put me on hold and said she was asking the nursing department. Anyway, hoping the letters come soon and I hope that you get accepted
