I recently applied to Hawaii Pacific University for Fall 2017 and I am having a hard time finding any RECENT information or people in the same boat. Anxiously waiting for a letter or email (I have no idea which one) for a "yes" or "no"
A little bit about myself: I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman and separated two years ago to pursue nursing, and before the Navy I was a CNA. I have completed most of my pre-reqs at Hawaii Pacific and have taken scattered college over the past ten years because of moving around a lot. Hoping to meet and share experiences with others who have applied to HPU's BSN program or HPUs HM to BSN program (I applied to both), or even those who are in the program now.
No, hopefully today, I'll post on here if I get anything. Wondering if they sent out acceptance and rejection letters at the same time. Does anyone know if HPU has a waitlist? This waiting game and uncertainty is brutal
I called yesterday for an update, I was told "mid April" by a man in admissions. Another student that I have a class with was also told the letters were sent out last Thursday... Another empty mailbox today makes me question the truthfulness of what admissions says
I'm just happy that I'm not the only one that hasn't received anything so thank you for everyone that is posting. As to the above question about waitlists- I've never heard of anyone being on a waitlist for HPU, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist.
I still haven't gotten anything either. Do you think our degree works would've changed by now if we were accepted? Didn't know if anyone has checked that or how often they update it.
