Hawaii Pacific University

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello

I recently applied to Hawaii Pacific University for Fall 2017 and I am having a hard time finding any RECENT information or people in the same boat. Anxiously waiting for a letter or email (I have no idea which one) for a "yes" or "no"

A little bit about myself: I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman and separated two years ago to pursue nursing, and before the Navy I was a CNA. I have completed most of my pre-reqs at Hawaii Pacific and have taken scattered college over the past ten years because of moving around a lot. Hoping to meet and share experiences with others who have applied to HPU's BSN program or HPUs HM to BSN program (I applied to both), or even those who are in the program now.

Hey everyone congrats on getting in! I will be applying to next falls program some questions I had...

-What were your guyses teas scores? trying to see what chance I have in getting in

-is it possible to take summer classes to graduate earlier?

-do all pre-reqs have to be complete before starting the program? My current school doesn't offer the native culture general ed courses

when do they usually give out acceptance letters? I am thinking about applying there as well.

Hey guys, wanted to get an update on how the program is going. I was recently accepted to the same program but I'm getting a little worried with the quality of HPUs program after my experience with my advisor. The reviews from a few years back definitely are not helping me feel better. Hoping the program has improved before I move to Oahu

Yes,same here I am not hearing much good reviews about it. I've heard ups and downs and just want to make sure it's the right investment. I still have a little more time till I apply.
