Having a hard time with writing assignment

Our freshman class has to write five abstracts in APA style for the semester writing assignment. I am horrified. I failed my senior english class in high school due to a research paper, and got a C in my Comp II class in college because of a research paper. I knew the day was coming where my greatest challenge was going to be in front of me and here it is. I have 10 days to get the first abstract done and turned in for approval. I am stumped at the very beginning of the whole deal, I can't even decide on a topic. :-/ I told her one thing, then changed it to another. I know my grammer and puncuation are lacking. I have a great friend that will help me proof read so I am not to worried about that area. I just HATE research papers. I just have to get through this. It CANNOT be the end of my nursing path.

If you have to get through it then failure isn't an option. Don't give yourself the opportunity to fail. Look at examples of APA papers online and re-read the assignment requirements so you are more comfortable with what is expected. Then go get 'em. You can do it. After all - you have to. :)
