...and still have one day left to study :)
I'm pleased to say I have slogged my way through the Q-bank and Question Trainers, all their sample tests and alternate type quizzes. Re-did all the ones I got wrong. Of course I did a thousand or so Saunders and Lippincott questions, but stopped those reviews a couple of weeks ago.
So now, have tomorrow left, so I guess I'll just scroll through questions I've already done, just to keep in practice doing them. I shied away from the other reviews because I wanted to keep consistent with one style/strategy, and so don't think it'd be a good idea to go back to them on the last study day.
Have I mentioned how SICK to hell I am of this????

Absolutely DO NOT study tomorrow!! Take a day to unwind, recharge your batteries, and get some rest!

Oh, no, LOL....my test is on wednesday, so tomorrow (monday) IS my last study day! I refuse to study on tuesday! I said something to my hubby about taking index cards up with me (going the night before) so I can flip through while in hotel room....he YELLLED at me, lol...."you will NOT take them!"
So, just one day left :)

You will do just great, with all the hard work you have put into it. Will be definitely thinking of you and praying for you. Good Luck!!!!:wink2:
Thank you SO much....I really enjoy the support of this board!
I'll post on Tuesday before I leave for the hotel (will have dinner alone and an evening of staring at the tv--without flashcards!) before the test the next day.
I'm finding that in doing the "old" questions again, many of them seem "new" it's been so long since I did them! Wish I could say I am getting them all right!

Put your books away and forget it! I was told that, and as hard as it was, I found things to do besides study. I really think it helped me to relax, and helped keep my confidence! Good luck!

I was bad and couldn't stop studying. My NCLEX exam was an hour drive away and I finished my last practice exam at approximately 12:30pm. We left at 1pm for my 3pm exam. I brought my Saunders book with me and my notebook of lab values and other little notes. I'm so glad it's over and hope the time goes by quickly for you and that you will soon be posting about passing. :)

Ok, you guys, I get it! LOL.....my exam is Wednesday, and I promise I won't study anything at all on Tuesday! Today (monday) I will only scan over the cartoon pages from the Memory Notebook (I'm a visual person!) and do some random questions from Q-bank. Tonight, before I put it all away for GOOD, I'll look over those cards with lab values, etc on them. WHY I don't know, lol, since at this point either I'll be able to pull them outta my head when I need to, or will kill the patient on the test--not much gonna change now!
I promised MYSELF that on Tuesday I'd watch some great movie while the kids are at school and camp and go nowhere near the computer.
I might have to unplug it and have my dh hide the cord

i'm sure u did great!
i passed it using only 2 sources
qbanks and saunders book
i didnt bother with the saunders cd coz it gives me a headche
i passed with 75 and i definitely was not one of the top of my class
too much reading of different sources will only drive me crazy...i noticed lots of different books contradict eachother too....
