"students" ? i think you're on the wrong thread,dear... he he he. i would assume that we are all responsible adults here and as such misswoosie knows what she's getting into.....again, the offer still stands until the employer decides to withdraw it. now,if we're talking about retrogression..then that's a different story.
When you're talking about nursing schools and their paying customers, they're referred to as "students" reread my post again several times maybe it will stick this time.
I did answer your question, reread the post so you can understand it. If you don't want to, then that's your choice.
i did read your post and it is no way in connection with the topic being discussed in the other thread. nursing students = I-140/USCIS application...? call me thick, but can you please explain to me how are they related? thanks

Reread my original post. Before you graduate from nursing school you're a nursing student. It has nothing to do with I-140/USCIS application because that's not what I was talking about...If you're still having issues, then reread the post until you get it.

so you've finally admitted that what you've posted has nothing to do with the topic.you talked about students when the thread is about USCIS applications. that's all i need to hear and hope this will be the last of it.:chuckle:chuckle:chuckle

Who cares... It doesn't matter, I just was speaking of nursing students in general....This forum is in regards to "all parts of nursing" including different types of nursing students...So there really is no "out of topic" as you would say, but the correct term is "off topic" FYI....
no such term as "out of topic"? check your dictionary....FYIOriginally Posted by mauiboy
you're post is definitelyout of topic....the thread is about backlog of nurses' application. tell me, where will nursing students come into the equation? obviously, there not part of the topic since being students, they can't apply yet.
Mauiboy, I think that the point LatinaVNStudentRN2B is trying to make--which clearly you are not understanding--is that the term "off topic" is commonly used to refer to a remark that appears to have no relevance to the current discussion. Conversely, "out of topic" is not commonly used by most native English-speakers in normal conversation.
I take it that "out of topic" is in common use in your country, which is obviously not Maui! :chuckle
Perhaps now--with this clarification--we can all move on to more important discussions and stop this childish bickering....
I'm just wondering and I have no intention to get into a fight..This might be somewhat off the topic but I don't want to make a new thread. So i understand if moderators will delete this...
BUT...
What's with Filipino nurses and philippine nursing that a lot of our dear American friends are so interested about?
I just noticed it.They love hanging out in Phil forums and point again and again and again about how unskillful new nurses are,how our education is far from exemplary, how far we are compared to their NCLEX results, how a lot of us are still dependent to our parents, how foolish we are to dream of america with all the retrogression taking place..
I mean, what's really the bottom line here?

It's a shame that some of these new grads that came over recently don't know what they're doing...When you have family members not in the medical field coming to you and questioning the nurses education and knowledge then you know that there is a problem..
