Nursing Students NCLEX
Published Dec 27, 2014
I recently graduated nursing school and I'm curious if anyone has taken the and passed the NCLEX without taking a review class. If so, what did you do?
Im considering using NCSBN. Has anyone tried this review only with NCLEX prep books?

Agreed. I did the bare minimum. Attended lecture and hardly cracked my book open. If you understand the pathophysiology, questions are a huge waste of time and effort. I was always able to make an educated guess. Our school gave us the option to take the HESI. Every time I took it, I blew it away. Always over 1000.

The vast, vast majority of people who graduate from nursing school are, in fact, prepared to take NCLEX by so doing, do not take prep courses, and pass on their first sitting.
Reread that.
SOS prn until it sinks in.
Bump.

Nearly 90% of US educated nurses pass the NCLEX on their first attempt.
