Has anyone ever failed the nclex using exam cram? Curious.

Published

I searched through postings and I see some people who have failed using kaplan, saunders, hurst.. and others. I also see some who have passed using them. But, what I haven't really came across to anyone who has failed using exam cram. So just was curious if anyone has.

I guess my question would be -- Do people feel prepared answering questions during the NCLEX with the information they've gained from Exam Cram specifically?

I haven't seen any posts of people idt. I supplemented exam cram w kaplan. Exam cram was just for content. kaplan was too.in depth w content in the book. I also did questions after each of the.chapters. and I did 125 questions from practice 1 test. this is all from exam cram. passed w 89 questions.

I read some posts back about people commending exam cram, but i think they used it for mostly questions. So I bought the exam cram practice question book. Although, I have yet to open it.... still working on Saunders.

I did all 1250 questions from exam cram and am doing 2 more tests from the review book with 500 questions.

2126, how do you feel about the questions?.. I have yet to open mine

I have done all the questions too, also wrote note cards and studied content. Doing the Simulated exam tomorrow. I feel like i know the info on exam cram from front-to-back. Just hope it's good enough.

LaCharity is also good!

Some people don't even do much studying. They pass just because they got an exceptional understanding of the content from nursing school, so the resources used may or may not have much of an effect on passing or not passing. It is the person's knowledge base (whereever that came from; most of it should have come from school) and test taking experience that dictates whether or not they pass.

Some of the questions were really easy, but then some I thought I knew and got wrong. I was scoring from 68-73%! Not so good....

Many people in my class just took the exam without much studying....3 weeks max! The teachers recommend that we do that bc our school really did give us a good foundation.
