Has anyone applied for El Centro/ Northlake for Fall 08 (Late Application)

Has anyone applied to El Cento/ Northlake for Fall 08 during the late filing period? If you have, have you gotten a response if you are in the nursing program yet? If so, when did you get your acceptance letter?

No it wasnt Kanora!! They said she was unavailable:rolleyes: It was just the lady at the reception desk in the paramount buliding. Hope she knows wht shes talking about!!! Why did they tell u any different??

I called the other day and spoke with Kanora. She said the letters would be mailed out the 1st week in August (now what day..I'm not sure). Let's keep our fingers crossed that they come towards the beginning of the week....only a few more days!!!

i wish she would have been more specific but tht is def closer than aug 11, so am all for it!!:yeah:i wonder when orientaion is then??? assuming i get in...

Assuming that I get in as well...I would think that orientation is the following week...but who knows...

I know how u feel bcoz both snowflake and I have been waiting forever!! Bt hopefully this week we will get the letters!!

I have a friend in my Summer II SCIT 1408 class that got an email from Kanora yesterday and accepted - she had a 4.0 in her prerequits. I have a 3.0 and am hoping to hear from Kanora sometime this week. I was told that she was going to call people, but obviously she's emailing instead.

I have 2 more days of 1408 and 3 more tests to take and it's really distracting - just waiting and hoping to get an email. I check it all day long. I'm afraid if I don't that I'll miss the 24/48 hour reply time.

It looks like the clinicals at Las Colinas are all taken. There's Presby and Parkland left. I looked up the availability on the dcccd schedules and as of today, there are still 24 slots open. I hope one of those is for me.

Hey - I also heard that orientation for those accepted from Late Application into the Fall Northlake program will be 8/12.

If anyone is in the same - waiting mode, please email me personally so we can chat/vent a little.

Do you know how many spots were available? Did the e-mail say when the last day would be to get an e-mail? Do you think all the emails were sent out yesterday?
