Has anyone applied to El Cento/ Northlake for Fall 08 during the late filing period? If you have, have you gotten a response if you are in the nursing program yet? If so, when did you get your acceptance letter?

Has anyone else received any email from Kanora saying that they've been accepted for late Fall 2008?

I got an email on Tuesday that I was accepted. My pre-reqs were a 4.0. The respone time is this Friday by 5pm. Good luck to everyone.

What are you going to do if you don't get in? (While you are waiting for the spring 09 notifications) What was your GPA (if you don't mind me asking) I know if we don't get in now that the apps will be push to the spring 09 pool, but what if it's a no then....do you have a plan "B"

Am really depressed right now esp bcoz i dont really have any other classes(co-reqs) to take!! So am going to be stuck with four new classes(which i dnt need) this sem just because i didnt get in. I just dont get it!!!:banghead: I have A's in all my classes xcpt Algebra and Micro. I had B's. I guess the criteria is all A's. I dont know wht i will do next bcoz right now am just too sad!!:bluecry1: Maybe in a little bit i will think of plan B. I really dnt want to do the lvn to rn route!!

My situation is a little backwards....I went to school, got my Bachelor's of Science degree. I thought I wanted to do one thing and towards the end of my degree decided to do nursing. I applied once already, I didn't get in b/c I didn't have HPRS and they didn't except my A&P from the school I graduated from. So I took HRPS and I was able to get my A&P transferred over and I thought I would be able to get in for this semester (but I guess I was mistaken:scrying:) I am still thinking positively for the spring semester. I am also going to try to apply to another school. I have always been interested in teaching, so that would be my plan "B". (If I get rejected again I think that's what I'm going to do) I'm really bummed out:cry:

Hey - I also heard that orientation for those accepted from Late Application into the Fall Northlake program will be 8/12.

If anyone is in the same - waiting mode, please email me personally so we can chat/vent a little.

Hey guys. I had been wondering when the heck they were going to get any info out to us late-bloomers. I got my answer today...I made it! I'm not sure who else out there made it, and I'm surprised they even considered giving out spots this late considering orientation is tomorrow and classes start in two weeks or so.

Anyone know how many spots they were trying to fill? I was also wondering if anyone else got accepted...

I believe they were filling 20 spots. If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA?
