I had my interview last week but I was given a 221g letter stating that my documents will still be reviewed by them and will just receive a letter regarding the result. I have given them all docs that the consul needed. For me, I answered the consul's questions quite well. Actually there were two of them so I think one is some sort of a trainee. I was not asked for any additional docs either. The consul didnt even inform me that my case has to be reviewed. By the end of the interview, she just asked me to take my seat and wait for my number to be called.
At releasing ( when I thought everything was ok) the lady told me about the 221g letter and gave me the pink slip. she said that I will just pay for the courier service just in case the consul decides to send the visa without a second interview.
To all who have undergone this same frustrating experience, please kindly tell me how long it took you to be called for interview or got your visas.
Thank you
Aloha Everyone! Id like to ask those who have been writing/faxing to the US embassy. What did you write/address in your letters as far as your concerns regarding the delayed visas to the embassy?. I think to those who are still waiting could use some insight if it would help/guide speed up the process by writing to the embassy. I wish you all the Best with your future endevours. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Its finally our day! Today is such a joyess day for both me(Sumi) and Bakepie. Just to let you folks know out there that ive been persistant on Bakepie case to follow up with the embassy/and writing to the embassy as many of you have suggested. (We had to wait 31 Working days excluding Saturday and Sunday to those who are curious on a timeframe on the waiting period) To all who have been waiting, please follow up like bakepie did and im sure you folks will get your visa's soon to. As soon as bakepie got the message from delbros i asked her to commit writing to you, to help you feel hopeful like how the rest who have left or received their visa's made us hopeful about receiving the visa NEXT when we were at our lowest moment. Thank you again, to all of you! And We wish you all the Best!!!! As mentioned in my first post.... Once we are all settled down i hope we can all get together and celebrate the hardships we have endured during our path to success. Good Luck to you All. I close in for now. PEACE
