I had my interview last week but I was given a 221g letter stating that my documents will still be reviewed by them and will just receive a letter regarding the result. I have given them all docs that the consul needed. For me, I answered the consul's questions quite well. Actually there were two of them so I think one is some sort of a trainee. I was not asked for any additional docs either. The consul didnt even inform me that my case has to be reviewed. By the end of the interview, she just asked me to take my seat and wait for my number to be called.
At releasing ( when I thought everything was ok) the lady told me about the 221g letter and gave me the pink slip. she said that I will just pay for the courier service just in case the consul decides to send the visa without a second interview.
To all who have undergone this same frustrating experience, please kindly tell me how long it took you to be called for interview or got your visas.
we're on our 9th week already but still no news. We called to the embassy's call center and the agent told us that no requirements needed. but wait until the consul will give the final say.
I know the feeling my friend Me and bakepie waited for almost two years to get it right with the immigration. We were getting very ansi and frustrated at the end like yourself. Im sure bakepie was ready to throw the towel and call it quits but we supported eachother when times seemed grim. You are not alone...we're also on our 3rd month and 3 weeks(to be exact) waiting for our visa and still no visa has been release.Just keep on praying and ask for His guidance and strength..You know what,it would be better if you email them on a sunday because they usually respond to your email..I just noticed that for 2 consecutive weeks already.Then make your letter/mail short because they don't like reading very long paragraphs.lets hope for the best...keep in touch!
we are always praying for you that you will have your VISA soon. Maybe the delay is because they want to make sure your going to be in good hands. I hope you can email me and give me your names so I can offer you prayers to the sisters of mount carmel. I want to do something for you before i leave for the US. hi there guys....im now here in US...i arrived about two weeks ago...paraw and len....I know its hard but you really have to have faith i know that it will arrive soon...maybe today maybe tomorrow but i know it will arrive...i miss this forum thats why eventhough i already received my visa im still hanging out with you guys to make a living testimonial that all our visa will arrive..i waited for 2mos and two weeks,...its worth it...once you get hold of ur visa pls inform all of us..to all those still waiting...godbless and i want to welcome you in the US...hope we could have a get together when all of u arrives...keep in touch ok....PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
When I open the delbros yesterday which I attempted many,many times the answer to me is"cannot find server". I thought they are just loading new inputs.
I went home with no results, suddenly my phone rang. Its my partner in life telling me that her visa arrived.(I thought it was just an ordinary call). Actually we have different addresses that why her visa arrived first.
I immediately texted the delbros text hotline as to the status of my visa. Delbros replied" visa transit to (------ province)". I can't sleep last night of waiting. I thought it will arrive this afternoon and so I did my home care management to my patient. Exactly 11:10am(sept 28,2006), my mother called me up telling that the delbros is waiting for me.
Today, I am here in net with my visa at my side. After 2months and 1 week of waiting, really it pays.
But I have another problem, in my surname instead of two R, the visa has 1 R only. What will I do?
Call embassy?please help me.Thanks.
