GWU Accelerated BSN Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread about GW's application process for Fall 2018. The deadline is Oct. 15th and was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to get a response. I unfortunately, haven't finished all my pre reqs but will have all of them done by the end of spring semester. I am currently taking micro and dev. psych. Taking stats in the spring. I'm just nervous about not having them all completed. I do have a 4.0 in the ones that are done. Anyone else in the same boat?

I received a breakdown of the costs from the school today. The list is a little confusing to me, but it says tuition is 70800.00 and is another section with fees of about 1425.00, excluding course-specific fees.

Hi Everyone,

I was also accepted into GW for this fall! Is anyone else concerned about accepting by April 15th and not being able to accept an offer from another program that may be cheaper? Tuition is pretty high and the Washington squared program is great, but isn't guaranteed obviously.

Out of curiosity, did anyone also apply to VCU's nursing? If so, are the SAT scores required to be submitted with the application?

I am , I applied to UMSON decisions wont be out until April-May. UMD is way cheaper than GW but who knows if i will hear back before the deadline.

I'm having the same issue.. 2 other schools I'm waiting for said we may not hear back until the end of april.. I'm also considering Washington squared but conflicted since its not guaranteed and not sure I want to be tied to that area for so long :( I wish they gave us a little extra time.

I just heard that Maryland will be releasing decisions back end of this week/early next week so hopefully, I can make a decision based on that. Still concerned about the tuition for GW since I'd have to take out so many loans! I'm also not sure why GW needs to hear back so quickly. Another one of my schools told me that it would be June by the time they let us know, which is super late and doesn't make any sense.

Are people planning on living in Ashburn or maybe halfway between DC and the campus since we'll be splitting our time between clinicals and class? I think I would plan my living situation once I find out if I get the Washington squared scholarship. Anyone else?

Im looking at apartments in Herdon and Reston .

Hello, Everyone! I am excited to join this page. I recently accepted my offer to attend GWU in the fall, and am SO EXCITED! Congrats to everyone who has received an acceptance! Very excited to meet everyone. :)

Hi everyone! I just joined this group, so excited! My name is Nicole and I'm from Miami. I'll be visiting campus this upcoming weekend for the Admitted Student Day; is anyone else attending?
