Gwinnett Technical College...Applying for the Nursing Program Jan 2016

Hey all!

Just wanted to see if any students on here is attending Gwinnett Tech and taking the pre-req for Nursing who will be applying January 2016 for the Fall 2016 program. I am signed up the take Micro this fall and will be applying in January. I'm not confident that I will be admitted into the program next Fall because of my GPA(2.9). I think I will have to retake A&P2 since I didn't do so well in that class. Hoping that I will score high on the Kaplan to see if that would help. I am planing on taking the Kaplan in October so if I need to retake, I can do so in late November or early December.

What were your scores and GPA 1st time around

4.0 gpa with 76 on kaplan. gpa and kaplan weigh the same when determining top 60

Wow, I can't believe with GPA they didn't accept you. Now, I'm even more nervous. When did they notify you all of who got accepted and who didnt

Dont be nervous you have excellent scores my friend got in with a 3.5 and an 82 which was i point higher than me.. We were notified the first or second week of February.. i am literally going crazy lol i need to know now!!!

Try not to worry and stress over it too much. Do the best you can- it's all you can do. I'm graduating in May from GTC. Y'all can do it!

Thanks i'm positive you will definitely get in as well.. Goodluck and hopefully we here something soon this time around i made 84 on kap with 4.0 gpa so fingers crossed

I haven't heard anything! I'm getting so nervous though. I was reading some gwinnett tech nursing conversations from a few years ago and they were saying that their majors changed on their transcripts to nursing when they were accepted. Mine hasn't changed, so I'm hoping this isn't true :( !

Dont worry to much they still havent made a decision yet the man said acceptance letters should go out in another week or two so be patient guys!!!
