New to allnurses.com but, I just applied for Nursing School at GTCC and I am so anxious to find out what points are getting accepted! Just wondering how many have applied and what their point range was? That Tea's V was a butt Kicker for me! So anxious to get a letter!
congrats lmthompson87!!! my mail will not pass until later today, but i will be checking it out!! i think if i do not get in that i will go to wssu...im so tired of trying these community colleges plus i work at fmc and they are trying to get all the nurses with their adns to get their bsns.
I do plan to work toward my BSN, but I need to begin working while I am getting it.
Bummer about the Red Cross Cert! I don't feel like sitting through another long class either. Maybe once we all get our letters (today!) we can all plan to attend the same CPR class?
I am in the process of ordering copies of my military immunization records....I do NOT want to have to get all of them again. Especially since I have already gotten them when growing up in the military, and AGAIN when I enlisted in the Army....
Momof2sons, you are right. I work on Cardiac unit at Moses Cone hospital and my director said they are starting to require BSN's as well. Fortunately for me, they will grandfather me in under the oath that I will promise to complete my BSN within a 3 year period. I am looking into the ADN-MSN bridge program right after the ADN nursing school. I worry if I stop and work after the BSN I will not continue on...Best of luck to us all!
CONGRATS Linda and Victoria!!!!! :))))))) SO happy for you both!!! And ark88 (sorry I don't know your real name) you will DEFINITELY get in!!! Now hopefully I can join :) just need yall to convince six people to drop their spots lol
And I hope everyone else gets their letters today, keep us posted! Good luck! I'm starting on my medical form right now!
