Not sure if there's one of these started already, but it's still pretty far off, so I thought I'd make one. Have any of you guys taken the TEAS yet? If not, where are you taking it? I didn't see any dates listed for GSU.
Hey guys! I can't take this anymore; the waiting is killing me! I have 3 tests this week (one tomorrow) and I can't concentrate on anything:( I keep thinking positively, but then some negative thought pops into my mind that makes me freak out. I really hope we all get in and find out SOON! Best of luck to everyone and myself- ha ha!
@ Breezy7: Hey, I was wondering...are you the same person in my BIO1104 class? The reason I am asking is because your stats sound familiar (I saw you in the convenient store on campus a couple weeks ago)...It would be neat to put a face to the name. I am positive you will get in, so don't worry. :)

YES!! I agree, it's definitely nice to put a face to the name! I'm Steph, by the way. I'm certain you'll get in as well. I was really pleased with the Bio test today; I couldn't make myself study last night, but I was really comfortable with how she presented the material on the test. How do you think you did? It's all I can do to focus on A&P right now... eek!
Hey guys, the program GPA includes ALL of your area A-F classes (english 1 & 2, math, history, etc.) PLUS your science pre-reqs. guys dont worry! by the looks of everyone's stats, you guys are competitive. what's meant to be will be! God already has your decision made and trust that its for the best. If God forbid you dont get in, maybe its not the right time. But lets not worry about that. As far as im concerned, we're all getting in! Besides, this might make you feel better. All of the previous 'all nurses' forums for GSU had A LOT of ppl on them. Im talking 30+ pages of posts. This is the first semester forum that I dont see as many. So hopefully that means there are not as many applicants. I think whats gonna happen at GSU is that there are gonna be less applicants, but the grades are gonna get more competitive.
Oh by the way, usually they send the letters out in the middle of the week (i think Wednesdays) and you receive them at the end. The year before last, got my letter on a Friday and so did some a lot of my friends. And a few people got them on Saturday mornings (i guess it depends where you live).

Thanks for clarifying the "program GPA" thing for us svictor. And I agree with you, this is a relatively small forum for GSU applicants (especially for Fall, which seems to have more applicants/AN posts). I think the horror stories about the GSU application process are spreading and it's keeping a lot of folks away....good for us, I guess.
Trying to say positive but its so hard when ur guys stat look so much better than mine and not to mention I was always the last to get my waitlisted letter. So frustrated with the whole process
An 86 is still competitive!! I was looking at some of the old threads, and people got in last with with 83s. Your GPA is solid. Keep up the hope :-)

Nothing today. I checked three times (HAHA!) - not even a crappy advertisement or magazine. Nerve-wracking! Hopefully we'll all get something tomorrow. :-)
