Hi, will anyone here be applying for the 2016 admissions for the CNL program at GRU in Augusta, GA?! If so could you share some of your career background/experience and stats! Also if some of you who are currently or have been in the program could give some input that would be awesome too!!
Hey! This is the first time I've logged back on since our last posts. I used the Kaplan study book. I liked it, but the MAT seems to be something you can't really study for. I took the diagnostic test in the book, and when after I went through the book and then took some of the practice tests, I still got the same score or close to the same score I got on the diagnostic test. It's more a test of your ability to problem solve and figure stuff out rather than a test of general knowledge. Are you still taking the test in September? Have you started your application through NursingCAS yet? I'm working on mine now, and I'm so nervous.
Hi Jen! Thanks so much. I would have replied to your private message but I can't do that yet. I'm really loving taking all the prereqs online and getting them done in eight weeks is great. Like you said, they're intense, but so far I've pulled an A in Bio (I never took it my first two times in college) and Human Development (the program wouldn't accept the one I have because it's an education course and not a psychology course). I've still got to do the two A&Ps, micro, and chemistry. Gulp. Right now I'm working on my application...almost finished, just have to to finish up my essay. I'm so nervous!
I'm working on the essay now, and I just keep second guessing myself. I don't know if I should go for a tug at your heartstrings kind of thing, or if I should just be cut and dry and stick to the facts. I was told there were over 400 applicants for the program last year...I want it to stand out!
