  1. Right...I wasn't clear. I also sent them to CAS but couldn't get it to update, so I sent them to admissions office as well. Sorry!
  2. Sure! Here's the address: Augusta University Office of Admissions 1120 15th Street Benet House Augusta, GA 30912
  3. Ditto izzy...I couldn't get CAS to update, and Emily said to send updated transcript to the admissions office.
  4. So excited for those of you who have heard good news! Y'all need to join the Facebook page. Everyone else, DO NOT give up!
  5. Hi! I'm in Grovetown. My husband is a nurse at University, and my sister is a nurse at GRUHealth. Those are both great hospitals. Doctors hospital is closer to Grovetown, but I don't think the pay is quite as much as the hospitals downtown. Not 100% sure, though.
  6. There are TONS of apartments/houses/rooms to rent in Augusta and the surrounding suburbs. Depends on how much you want to spend and how close to the school you want to be. Some of the downtown areas aren't that great, but some are just fine.
  7. I got this from Emily: The first day of class will be August 17. We will have a mandatory orientation either that Monday/Tuesday or at some point the week prior.
  8. Here is my timeline again. It took a long time for my app to be verified, and it's only taking a few days for some folks. Not sure why. August 30 - submitted app to CAS September 23 - app verified by CAS October 14 - got invitation to interview October 23 - interview November 17 - phone call with acceptance
  9. I turn 40 in July, and start my program in August. I've got two boys, 11 and 13. I've been an elementary school teacher for 12 years, and I'm crazy excited to be making this change. We can do this!!!
  10. Yes, the program accepts online classes from the local community college. There was a lab component, but the class as a whole was not nearly as difficult as posts here would lead you to believe. I just want to make sure that I do have that core foundation, and I'm hoping to pick up the slack on my own. I am a good student, and I have good study skills, so what I'm really looking for is a self-guided something or other to use, rather than just reading my textbook.
  11. I've been accepted to a CNL MSN program that begins in August. I'm working on prereqs now, and I'm taking them online through a community college. I just finished A&P I with an A. That sounds great, but the reality is that it was a relatively "easy" 8 week online course and I don't feel as though I learned enough. I'm scared that I am going to be behind (as far as A&P knowledge goes) when I begin my program, and I've decided I need to educate myself outside of class as much as possible. Do any of you have any suggestions about ways I can do this? Recommended books, videos, etc.? Any advice is most appreciated.
  12. Is anyone doing the CON tour this Friday?
  13. I'm doing the CNL program at AU in Georgia.
