  1. Hi! I will be applying as well...I graduated with a Bachelors in Kinesiology this past December and I fell in love with the field of Nursing towards the end of my undergraduate studies. I have not take the GRE yet and to be honest I'm unsure of how to study for it . I took the test early part of this year just to get an idea of what to expect and ended u getting a score of 284, which scares me because a 290 or higher is required. I'm aiming to submit my application towards the end of September and hopefully taking the test at the beginning of September.....I too would like to pursue further studies to become a DNP!
  2. Hi HopefulCNL2016, its totally fine, I'll be in the same boat as you except I'll be graduating next week from GRU or Augusta University with my undergrad degree. However, I'm hoping to strengthen my application with my current job, internship experience, test scores and LOR! AND A BIG CONGRATS TO EVERYONE THAT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED!!!
  3. This makes me feel a little better about taking it!
  4. I'm thinking about taking the MAT at the end of September as well just in case I need to retake it again then I'll have time to do so. My sister recently got into a Public Health program and she was required to take the MAT and she did so without studying and did well. I'm currently studying the Kaplan book and some of the terms used are difficult but from what my sister told me, it was not the same on the actual test!
  5. Wow! Thank you so much this is truly going to help me while going through this process! I'll be taking the MAT which I find is a little hard to study for and I'm in the middle of putting together my personal statement which I want to stand out!
  6. Hi!! What can we expect in terms of the wait time when it comes to the decision making? Also can having a GPA on the low side be overlooked by high test scores, great recommendations and personal statement?
  7. So much great information! Thanks for sharing! I would love to know what are the benefits of having a rolling admission.
  8. Also what was your MAT score? I'm a bit nervous about taking it!
  9. Hi! I'm in the same boat, my GPA isn't great so I'm trying to make up for it through experience, great personal statement and MAT score! I'll be submitting my application in December so hopefully I won't be too late. Good luck!
  10. Yess!! But my only issue is I'm waiting for my grades after my last semester of undergrad so I'll be submitting my application in December.
  11. Yeah I remember them saying the number of applicants change each year so I'm hoping they accept more. It seems like more and more people are targeting this program each year!
  12. I'm pretty much in the same boat! I want to stand out as well so that's why I'm having trouble coming up with a good solid intro! Wow 400?! I wonder how many applicants are accepted seeing as they have an Athens and Augusta campus.
  13. I previously attended the tour over the summer and it was awesome!!
  14. Yes I will be taking the test in October now and am in the middle of studying for it using the Kaplan study guide! Yes I am too working on my application in Nursingcas! I'm a bit nervous as well! Have you put together your statement of purpose?
  15. Thank you! It has been moved!
