GRU / Augusta University MSN CNL Fall 2017

Hey guys, anyone else applying to the CNL program at Augusta University ( previously known as GRU)? I am going to be applying and if admitted I think I would prefer to make my move a few months post acceptance. I have 2 bachelors and my passion is with Psychiatric Mental health but I really don't want another Bachelors so the CNL seems just fine to have under my belt until I maneuver into a DNP program. It all sounds so pricey but in the end I believe it will be worth the while. I know I am early but hopefully others are interested. My scores aren't great but I saw people with similar scores with acceptance so lets just pray. I have great grades it is just one school gave me F's instead of W's when I withdrew in 2008 and I have had hell getting it off my record but it has no bearing on my gpa it is still "good" just not where it could be without 4-5 F's.

Thank you for the support!!! Mine says incomplete because of the supplemental application but I submitted that in November and they received it...I guess the system never changed for me.

For those of you who got in.. When your status changed (on the Applicant Status Check) to "decision made" did it list your preferred campus or did everyones say "main campus?"

My campus was listed as Athens, which was my preferred campus.

For the people who have gotten in, what is the name of the Facebook group? Is there a separate group for this program or is it just the augusta nursing school group

If you search something like "Augusta University CNL 2018" it should pop up:) There is also one that has CONAT attached to the name, it's a subgroup for Athens students.

Hey guys! For those of you who have already gotten your letters... once your status changed to "decision made" about how long did it take for ya'll to receive it in the mail? I've been hovering by the mailbox and assumed it would get here quickly since I live in-state but so far, still waiting!

Hey! I didn't really check my status on the computer! However, Emily called me on Thursday, April 20th and my letter was mailed Friday, April 21rst. I received it like Monday or Tuesday of this week, but I also live right here in Augusta. So mine arrived pretty quickly. Nevertheless it looks as if they mail pretty quickly after making a decision, so hopefully you will receive something very soon!!!

Does anyone know about the wait list and the chances of being admitted to the program?

So my status has changed to Decision Made- sent by mail. The Background consent didn't pop up, but the required document of "Proof of Degree" popped up. Anyone think that is a good sign?

Hi everyone! I just received my letter and I've been put on the alternate list. I really hope I am still accepted.

@encameron12 I was put on the alternate list as well. I contacted Emily and she said that she is not able to tell me what number I am on the list. Have you heard anything?
