Grossmont Fall 2018 Cohort

Is the right place for the topic? I tried to search for an existing thread but couldn't find it.

I'm hoping to meet other applicants for the Fall 2018 ADN program at Grossmont. I just finished my TEAS (92%) with an estimated 83-85 points overall. Let's get to know each other!

I had 81 points and I got in so 80 is close also. U have a really good chance with 80 points especially if this is only the first round. We have to accept by april 2. I know Southwestern hasn't gotten their letters out also so if people get accepted into Grossmont but waiting on southwestern then there could be spots that open up.

I am still waiting on my first choice, but likely won't know until May. If I get in there, I will give up my seat. There's still hope.

Checked every folder lol and nothing unless I did not have everything like I thought but I'm preety sure I did. It's ok I'll be patient and wait. Lol

I got my acceptance today also! If I hadn't I would still be thinking positively because I believe they send out to multiple groups. So they fill a few spots by 4/2, then keep sending out letters. Good luck to everyone!

Not at all. There will be many rounds. Don't lose hope.

I thought they sent all of the first round out today?

My understanding is that they sent out emails to the top candidates today. Like if there were 40 spots, they sent acceptances to the top 40. And those people have to let them know if they're accepting or declining by Monday. So if only 20 people accept, there are 20 open seats. So then they email the next 20 people on the list and so on until all of the seats are filled. Hopefully another wave of emails will go out next Tuesday or Wednesday. I know it's super disappointing and I'm having a really hard time staying positive about it. But there is still a chance.

Congratulations to all those accepted into Grossmont's nursing program! I had about a maximum of 82 points and received my acceptance email at 3:52pm. Fortunately for you guys I will not be attending Grossmont's nursing program because I got accepted into SDSU's BSN program for the fall of 2018!!! :) So this opens a spot for another person. I wish the best of luck to all of you!

Do you guys know if Korean is part of the language criteria? And I believe the next round of emails should go out on April 6 because that was date the fall 2017 cohort got their emails for the second round.

Congratulations on SDSU, Redemption! That's awesome! Hopefully those of us still waiting on an email hear back soon. This is going to be the longest weekend ever.
