Grossmont Fall 2018 Cohort

Published

Is the right place for the topic? I tried to search for an existing thread but couldn't find it.

I'm hoping to meet other applicants for the Fall 2018 ADN program at Grossmont. I just finished my TEAS (92%) with an estimated 83-85 points overall. Let's get to know each other!

I am applying to Grossmont and the BSN program at WGU. I have 84 points. Fingers crossed!

Hey,

Thank you for creating this thread. I actually turned in my application today at Grossmont with 83 points.

Good luck for all!

Hey everyone, I'm glad I found this thread. I turned my app in to Grossmont a few days ago and I'm hoping for the best; this time around I've applied only to GCCCD. I scored a 93 on TEAS and combined with the other criteria on the rubric I calculated at 79 points. Crossing my fingers and toes that it will be enough for acceptance, I see some high scores already, fantastic job!

Can't wait to hear the news and cheer everyone on, and I hope we all see each other in the Fall!

Great job on your TEAS and best of luck to you!

Hi everyone! I just applied yesterday with 81 points :) I cant wait to find out. This is my second time applying and the wait is evil! lol. Good luck to everyone

Hey guys!

I applied for the Spring 2017 cohort with a overall score of 75 and did not make the cut.

After retaking my TEAS, I'm back and better with a score of 82!

I turned in my app today and have around 78 points so kind of low compared to everyone ): does anyone know the average score that is usually accepted?

@nrenteria13. Don't worry, your points aren't that low. I know two people who got accepted last cohort with 74 and 79 points, so it depends!

We are in the same boat! I wish there was a solid number to work off of, but I think each cohort all depends on the pool of candidates that apply. Hopefully it will still work out in our favor (I'm sitting at 79 pts)!

Quick question, for those who took the prerequisites at Grossmont/Cuyamaca, did you turn in an official transcript for those classes? I know the application says they can access the records for those colleges. But then it also says official transcript for all classes listed must accompany application.

I had the same issue previously. It's kind of confusing, I understand what you mean! The asnwer to your question is No, you don't have to turn in any transcripts as long as all of your classes/prerequisites are with GCCCD. When I turned in my application packet, Christy asked me if all of my classes are within grossmont&cuyamaca and I told her YES, so she did pull the transcript out for me and will attached it to the application packet.
