One theory is that donorship is WAY DOWN for the GOP because people who actually have money don't want to align themselves with Nazis and White Nationalist political clowns that are in lock-step with Trump.  The other theory is that political Trump-supporting trash has done what their Dear Leader would do, GRIFT the Party!

I wonder when people pretend like there weren't quite a few Hitler fans in the USA during that era. I wonder more when those same people laugh at the same right wing tactics used in modern conservative politics as used by the right wing in Nazi Germany.  It suggests to me that those minimizing the threat of right wing extremists in Germany didn't really learn that history very well at all.

Steve King, Paul Gosar and MTG are Congressional members who identify as white nationalists. Senators Johnson (R-WI) and Masters (R-AZ) have spoken about the white nationalist "replacement theory/grievances" . We saw some of that publicly early in Trumps presidency with the chanting ("jews will not replace us"..."you will not replace us") tiki torch brigade. Do you remember those 'very fine' people? Frankly, the number of republican members of the House who forward this thinking is pretty impressive... you can't forget Gaetz, Boebert or Taylor-Greene but we could also throw in Stefanik and others. That replacement theory grievance is a clue.

 

 

 

Well considering I'm Jewish and have ancestors that died and escaped Nazi Germany and concentration camps I consider those who spout such propaganda trying to impose their dishonest political agenda on the backs of actual holocaust victims. Disgusting really.

That "silly Nazi propaganda book" is a highly acclaimed account of the events of the time. Do you read any history or do you rely entirely on family knowledge relative to the fascist destruction of Germany? How do your family say that Hitler rose to power?

If your Jewish heritage comes to you through your maternal line, then you are a Jew. As such, it seems odd that you would be totally unaware of any Nazi influence in the US. Keeping an eye on the people who want to kill you would seem to be Survival 101, especially since you lost family in the most recent of European purges.

I know that the presence of synagogues and a Jewish community (and the New Mexico tradition of live and let live) was a deciding factor in his decision to move to Albuquerque. A so-called “ethnic Jew”, he was adopted and raised Orthodox and felt safer with other Jews around. More warning if  the burning crosses started showing up.

Is a white nationalist a person with light colored skin that loves their country even with a demented reject running it from his basement and think that black people are competent enough to get photo ID in order to vote? Or a person that has a different opinion than a Democrat? Does a white nationalist have to be white? I've heard of a few black white supremacist lately.

Sorry  "racialist" banners. It was in your definitions. Let's not pretend nobody has associated flying the American flag as a white supremacy symbol.

My family told me that Hitler convinced people that one particular group of people were responsible for all the hardships of the country. He then said that these people are evil by virtue of their Jewish heritage. Individuals do not matter because all the systems were constructed and perpetrated by Jewish people and the only way to survive is to dismantle them and all their societal structures. If anyone disagreed with this they suffered grave consequences.  He encouraged open and blatant discrimination of the one particular group because they deserved it.  It then became openly acceptable and even encouraged. 

Sounds kind of familiar don't yah think?
