I am looking for suggestions for great nursing magazines! Subscriptions are so pricey, sometimes $6.50/issue, so I want something that will be well worth the money.
Since I will be a new grad, I am looking for a nursing journal that provides a broad range of useful nursing topics and tips, and not so much extensive research on quality control/management type articles that won't pertain to me in my immediate post-graduation career.
Any suggestions? I am thinking about Nursing Made Incredibly Easy! and perhaps Nursing2006.

There is a link/information for REVOLUTION MAGAZINE, an online journal.

I have gotten Nursing Magazine since I was a student.
I also subscribe to:
Nursing 2006
AJN

And AWHONN member, which publishes Lifelines and JOGYN, two journals relating to women's and children's health issues.

I would sugest. Joining a professional organization. again pricy but usually there are some magazines included in being a member. For instance I am a member of AWHONN and I pay 140 or so a year to be a member and i get 2 magazine subscription which I belive just the magazine subscriptions is just as much if not more as my professional dues.
