i finally passed that darn nclex, on my second try! it took me 3.5 hours this time, with all 265 questions (again!) and after that excruciating 48 hour long wait, i logged on to pearson vue to find out my results and....
i passed!
thanks to all of my buddies on all nurses for your encouragement and prayers! and to those of you who have yet to take the test or are having to retake it: it can be done! remember: this is only a test, and if i (the world's worst test-taker) can pass it, anyone can! sure, it's not an easy test, but it is perfectly doable! i owe many thanks to the ncbsn's learning extension program, it was well worth the money!

Congrats. Did the test feel the same as it did the first time? I also see reports of increasing number of meds on the test.
Again congrats.
I would never go so far as saying that the NCLEX is ever easy...but I did find it to be a little less difficult than when I took it the first time. It was still frustrating and I felt like I was flying blind, but I did pass.
As far as meds go, I honestly feel like there were more on my first try (I took it in late June) then on my second test date on Wednesday. I did feel like the most recent test I took had quite a bit more 'knowledge-based' questions but also a fair share of prioritization, delegation, and teaching.
