Grayson County College LVN program

Hi! Anyone else start the lvn program at grayson this fall? Just looking to see if I have any buddies.

Hello all!! Has anyone received their acceptance letters yet? I applied to the program as well as I am anxiously waiting for my acceptance letter.

I haven't received my letter...but I've heard a couple of people have. One made a 74 on the test & she is #13 on the alternate list...YIKES! IDK what that means for me then, but good luck to everyone!

Ok, just got my letter. I'm alternate #3...does anyone know if any/or how many people got into the LVN program last year? Just wanted to know if I still have a chance. Thanks!

I got my letter today and I was accepted....wooohhoooooo!!! I am soo freaking happy. I made a 78 on the Teas so I guess I barely made it, but Im in!!! I hope you alternates get in the whole way too!!! Lindsey, I think since you alternate #3, you have a chance because a lot of people apply at more than one school, and they wont take their spots, or something comes up..And you are just #3...Congrats!!!

Lyndsey-Do you still have to attend orientation?? I have a friend who was alternate # 5 at a different school last year and she graduated top of her class :)

I heard that there were about 300 applicants...they only take 80.

I am PRAYING HARD that I get in. I don't care if they call me the day before class starts, I just REALLY want this. Yes, I still have to attend orientation. Since it's only AM or PM on 7/14 I am going to choose the AM. What about you? Congrats for getting in!

Everything will work out fine just make sure you attend the orientation that will guarantee u a spot if someone drops. Just be hopeful

I didnt get a paper with the times of orientation on it??? I got the one that said why we have to go and my acceptance paper to mail back in, etc... sooo i'll call tara on monday and see if she will re-send it to me! I bet you get in, Lyndsey!

Hey guys. I got accepted also!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!! Congrats to all those who were accepted and those who are alternates. I will see you all at orientation!! By the way, I did not receive a paper stating the orientation times so I guess I will have to call Ms. Tara on Monday. Anyways, congrats again!!

Congrats gmgleason!! They take 80, but i dont know how many alternates they have also. I am super stoked, but I wrecked my car two days ago and i am stressed about fixing it, or getting another one soon!! Nothing is gonna stop me from making it! I will see ya on July 14th for orientation!!
